It's summer, meaning vacation time for many of us. This also applies to COLORS and its team. Nevertheless, our passion to present you with content, more than just about vacation, can be found in this edition.
Let me start with our main story on Global Nomads, commonly called Third Culture Kids (TCK). It would seem that these families are always on vacation, touring the globe for business, study or merely for pleasure. But who are these kids who don’t seem to belong and yet feel at ease in different countries than their home country?
COLORS is fortunate to count with (mostly) TCK's on her team. Just to mention a few: Claudia Schalkx, Nyukwha, Jay Haviser, Guillermo Kaswalder and Tirzah Libert. These TCK's along with other collaborators are offering a variety of topics for your audio-visual pleasure in the various sections on this issue.
There are those who make it their Business to utilize the vacation period to finance their own vacation at your expense. And it's a monkey business with a unique story of a remarkable citizen in Global & Local.
He steps back on one tile, dragging the container with water along, and nobody dares to talk to him. The Water Calligrapher in Travel & Leisure.
Color your sense of direction in Colors & You. Sweet & Sour, or Bitter Sweet, in Cuisine it's a matter of taste.
Finally, are you sitting on a Gold mine, waiting for the Golden years to come by? Check Thelma’s advice in Customs & Habits.
Last, but not least, if you are heading for the beach you are still on time to work towards a Flat Belly. Just follow 10 simple steps by Erin Palinsky author of the newly released “Belly Fat Diet for Dummies”.
