It’s that time of the year when most people gather with friends and families to celebrate life, love, abundance, and exchange gifts and memories of the past year. Some even call it the most wonderful time of the year. Personally, that goes for me too.
Besides this, Liberty Publications has another joyous reason for this season as Colors celebrates her first anniversary online. Having started out with just 4 collaborators besides myself, within the space of one year, this number was increased to 34, and according to the stats with the release of each publication, we keep growing. This milestone was attained, thanks to the Colors team in general, and undoubtedly with the priceless support and tireless contribution of Claudia, chief editor and Guillermo, webmaster/ graphic designer in particular. My heart is filled with gratitude.
Christmas is also a controversial celebration among Christians and non-Christians. Some speculate on the date of December 25th and its origin being pagan or Christian.
I am aware of the dilemma one faces in holding on to tradition, or accepting and practicing new facts and insights of one’s faith. As a Christian, I believe and accept that Christ was born to redeem mankind of sin, to live at peace with God and humanity.
Commemoration and celebration of a date and season or even abstinence is a personal choice. According to Scripture this is The Reason for the Season…
"For unto us a child is born…. Prince of Peace. Isaiah-9-6
Have a Blessed and Peaceful Christmas.
