Steak can be eaten in many different ways. By adding some spices, this manner is very simple but still tasty. The fresh peppers blended with the flavor of the onion rings makes it even more delicious. You may also add a type of vegetable like bok choy or paksoi. Adding rice to it, you then have a complete meal.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams ground beef steak
- 1 pepper
- 1 large onion
- 4 tablespoons seasoned soy sauce (bv.Shisado)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- Black pepper
- Pinch of five spices powder
Preparation:
First the carving. Cut the onion and the peppers into rings. Then cut the steak into strips. Marinate the meat with finely crushed garlic, black pepper, spices soy sauce, five spices powder and a little salt. Let it rest for at least half an hour, or longer if possible.
Heat the oil in a wok. Once it is hot add the meat to stir fry. Keep tosting to avoid the meat burning. Once the meat is cooked, add onion and pepper rings. Keep stirring until the meat is tender. Serve with white rice.
Tip:
- If adding vegetables stir fry along with onions and peppers. Vegetables recommended are snow peas, paksoi, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, oxheart cabbage, and spinach.
